Police Arrest High School Students in Osage Shooting

3 charged after 2 men were shot in March

Two Stow-Munroe Falls High School students were arrested today in connection with a shooting in March on Osage Street.

Stow Police Chief Louis Dirker said in a press release that officers arrested two 16-year olds and a 17-year-old in connection with the shooting March 2 that left two Stow men injured.

One 16-year-old was charged with complicity to commit aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, and two counts of complicity to commit felonious assault, second-degree felonies.

The other 16-year-old was charged with complicity to commit aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony.

The 17-year-old has been charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony, and two counts of felonious assault, a second-degree felony.

All three juveniles are being held in the Summit County Juvenile Detention Center, according to Stow Police.

The charges stemmed from a shooting at 4034 Osage Street where Jason Hoy, 20, and Andrew Brown, 21, both of Stow, were shot but avoided life-threatening injuries.
