Police Blotter: Burglary, Arson

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary

  • A man living in the 3900 block of Wyndham Ridge Drive told police that someone went into his apartment and took a Playstation 3, video game accessories, two laptops, a DVD home theater system, three watches, headphones, sunglasses and a luggage bag. Burglary is a second degree felony and theft is a fifth degree felony.

Arson

  • A man living in the 3800 block of Darrow Road told police that on July 14, someone set a slide on fire at Northport Park. Aron is a first degree misdemeanor.
  • A man told police that between July 8 and 11, someone broke two windows at Echo Hills School and set a dumpster at the rear of the school on fire. Police say that the lid of the dumpster was destroyed. Arson is a first degree misdemeanor and criminal mischief is a third degree misdemeanor.
