Police Blotter: Burglary, Park Bathroom Flooded, Homes Egged

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Two homes were egged on the same day and same street June 13:

  • An Arndale Road resident told his house was egged overnight June 13. The resident said a few months prior his home was toilet papered. 
  • Another Arndale Road resident, about a block away, reported his house was also egged overnight June 13. Criminal mischief is a third-degree misdemeanor in both situations.

In other police news:

  • On June 13, a Munroe Falls woman visiting Oregon Trail Park found the sinks and toilets clogged with toilet paper and a phone book with the water turned on. Water seeped out into the carpeted area of a meeting room. The damage does not seem to be permanent according to the .
  • A Berger Avenue resident reported a burglary at his home June 15. Someone entered the duplex in an open window on the first floor and took his wife’s purse, said police. The purse is valued at $300 and about $350 in cash was inside, according to the report. Oxycodone tablets, an opiate, were also in the purse. Police noticed blood spots on the curtain of the window that was open, after investigating. Burglary is a second-degree felony.
