Police Blotter: Forced Entry, Criminal Damaging

Forced entry
A resident of the 1900 block of King Drive called at 10:26 a.m. Dec. 2 to report that someone had forced entry into his home sometime between 8 p.m. the prior evening and that morning.
Nothing was reported stolen as the house was nearly empty because the occupant, 62, was in the process of moving out.

Glass in a window and door were broken, and police found a Duralast 15/16” open-end wrench and a knit cap that apparently did not belong to the occupant.

The attempted theft of a catalytic converter from a catering truck parked behind Oregon Trails Plaza on Graham Road caused $50 in damages to the Ford vehicle.
An employee called police at 3:32 p.m. Dec. 5 to report that someone had cut the catalytic converter on one of the company owned trucks.
The attempted theft occurred between 8:50 p.m. Dec. 4 and 6:30 a.m. Dec. 5. The vehicle had already been repaired by the time police were called.
