Police Blotter: Yogurt, Sauce and Eggs Smeared on Car, Theft, Burglary

  • A woman went into R.S.V.P. Party Supply Outlet June 6 and when she left the store and went back to her car, she noticed two hubcaps were missing. The woman reported to police that she saw a group of young male adults in a truck and claims she saw two hubcaps inside. The factory hubcaps for a Honda are valued at $100. Theft is a first-degree misdemeanor in this situation.
  • On June 7 a Port Charles Drive resident reported to police that his car was egged while it was parked in his driveway. Not only were eggs thrown, but the man told police there were sauce packets and yogurt bottles smeared on it as well. Criminal mischief is a third-degree misdemeanor.
  • On June 6 A Pineridge Drive resident reported to police that her home was burglarized and about $2,300 in items were taken from the home overnight. Many of the times reported missing is jewelry, including a watch valued at $350 and diamond earrings valued at $300. Other items taken included commemorative and collectible coins, according to the report. Burglary is a second-degree felony. Theft, in this situation, is a fifth-degree felony.
