Police: Ding-Dong Ditch

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

responded to a call on Pimlico Boulevard because a resident was complaining about teens ringing door bells and hiding in yards Aug. 24 around 2 a.m.

When police arrived, one of the three teens fled on foot. The two youths in custody gave officers a phone number for the third teen's father. The father called his son and told him to wait on the street where he had ran to for police to arrive.

All three were charged with criminal mischief and for being out past curfew. The teen who fled was subsequently charged with obstructing official business.
