Police Find Bulk Amount of Drugs in Purse

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

said they pulled over a 55-year-old Akron woman at Herman Drive and Steels Corners Road for a traffic violation May 30 around 9:30 p.m.

Police suspected the woman, Lynn Marie Curtis, had been using drugs, according to the report.

Turns out Curtis, who has her DNA registered in the Ohio Offender Database, had what police called a bulk amount of Schedule II drugs in her purse.

Officers said they found 17 Methadone Hydrochloride pills, 17 Hydromorphone Hydrochloride pills, two Lorazepam and 11 Sudafed and Pseudphedrone in her purse.

Aggravated drug possession is a third-degree felony.
