Police: Profanities Yelled at Swensons, Pine Needles in Mailbox, 5 Break Out in Fight

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Five men broke out into a fight June 22 at a home on Maplewood Drive around 2:30 a.m., according to. Fighting is a minor-misdemeanor. All five men (from Stow, Alliance and Brookfield) were issued citations and ordered to go to June 27.

In other police news:

  • A Tallmadge woman reported to police that her registration stickers were taken off of her car June 21 while parked on Echo Valley Drive. Theft, in this situation, is a fifth-degree felony.
  • An Ellsworth Road resident said a pine tree was moved in his yard June 21. He later found pine needles stuffed into his mailbox, according to the report. Criminal mischief is a third-degree misdemeanor.
  • A employee told police two men and one woman came to the restaurant and yelled profanities and “vague threats” to the worker. The three suspects were in a 2009 white Nissan. Disorderly conduct is a minor-misdemeanor.
