Getting pulled over isn't exactly a favorite pastime of motorists in Cuyahoga Falls; however, folks may luck out as officers spread a little holiday spirit.
Some drivers caught committing minor traffic violations over the next two weeks will receive a "toy waiver" versus a ticket, said Cuyahoga Falls Police Chief Tom Pozza.
The waivers will encourage drivers to donate a toy to the Toys for Tots program.
According to Pozza, minor violations include those that don't put other motorists at risk, like driving without a front license plate.
"We're trying to spread a little holiday cheer," said Pozza. "This is our fifth year running the program, and each year has been a success."
Drivers that receive toy waivers are asked to drop their unwrapped gifts off between Dec. 2-15 at the Cuyahoga Falls Police Department, located at 2310 Second St.
