Police: Thousands in Jewelry Stolen, Trailer Taken and Money Wired to Faulty Account

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

  • A Cuyahoga Falls woman’s car was hit while parked in the parking lot of On Tap Aug. 28 and there was minor damage to the front end of the vehicle. The license plate on the front of the car was removed and taken. Theft, in this situation, is a a fifth-degree felony. 

 

  • An elerly man reported to that he wired $2,100 to an unknown person and fake account in Madrid, Spain. Theft in this situation is a fourth-degree felony.

 

  • A Kent Road woman reported to police that someone forced entry into her home and took more than $62,000 in jewelry. Theft, in this situation, is a second-degree felony.
