All information is according to Stow Police. Arrest information does not indicate conviction.

The Stow man accused of raping a woman at knifepoint inside her own apartment is being held at the Summit County jail on a $500,000 bond after appearing in Stow Municipal Court Monday.

Filip Konstantinovich, 49, of 3946 Fishcreek Road, appeared in court Monday morning via video arraignment on charges of rape and aggravated burglary, both first-degree felonies, after allegedly assaulting a neighbor Friday.

The victim told police that she had recognized Konstantinovich as a neighbor and that before he left her apartment he told her he planned to commit suicide.

Konstantinovich was spotted Sunday morning at the Walmart in Brimfield Township. Officers from the Brimfield and Tallmadge police responded, and Konstantinovich fled in his car—leading police on a brief chase before crashing into a utility pole.
