Reward Offered to Help Capture Drug Trafficker

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of Gerald Howard, who is wanted by the Summit County Sheriff's Department for trafficking in heroin.

The task force has been looking for Howard since a warrant for his arrest was issued in October 2011.

Howard, 60, is about 6'01" and weighs about 220 pounds. Task Force Officers developed information that Howard may be staying in the area of East 35th Street in Cleveland.

The task force said Howard also has ties to Maple Heights and Akron. Howard has a criminal history that includes convictions for narcotics, fraud and burglary dating back to the 1970s, according to officers.
