Stow Man Loses High-End Electronics, Jewelry to Burglar

The following was obtained from Stow police reports dated Feb. 21-25. It does not indicate convictions.

Unsavory behavior

On Feb. 25, a security guard asked a man to leave Stow's Akron General Medical Center after he was reportedly caught watching pornographic videos on a computer in one of the waiting rooms.

The security guard wrote down the man's license plate number and informed Stow police of the bizarre disturbance.

Cleaned out

A man living in the 3800 block of Vira Road called police after several high-end items were stolen from his home on Feb. 23.

The 32-year-old Stow resident said an unknown number of thieves broke into his house and stole two laptops, two flat screen TVs and jewelry, according to a Stow police report.

Police are investigating.

Better lock your doors

A woman's black Coach purse was reportedly stolen from her unlocked car parked in the Akron General Medical Center parking lot.

Her debit card and medications were also stolen.
