Stow Police: Group Practiced Martial Arts on School Rooftop

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

 responded to a call about four people jumping around on the roof at June 17 around 8 p.m.

When police arrived, they saw four people walking in the parking lot and asked if they were on the roof of the school.

The suspects said they were up on the roof practicing martial arts and jumping from one section of the roof to another.

The group said they climbed up an exterior wall onto the roof and said they weren’t aware it was illegal, according to the report.

The school was notified. No one was charged, but they were warned that criminal trespassing is a fourth-degree misdemeanor.
