Stow Woman Killed in Car Crash in Portage County
Stow woman's 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser hit by semi-truck on Interstate 76 Saturday.
Rootstown Township — Jeanne Gary of Stow was struck by a truck Saturday while traveling in Portage County and pronounced dead on the scene by the Portage County State Highway Patrol.
Gary, 57, drove onto a prohibited U-turn crossover on Interstate 76 and entered the right eastbound lane in the path of a truck, the Akron Beacon Journal reported.
The semi-truck was driven by Namden Singh Mann, 50 of Phoenix, AZ. He and the passenger in his truck, Jagtar Singh Dhillon, 48, of Avondale, AZ were not injured.

The case is under investigation by the State Highway Patrol.
