Stow's National Night Out Event Approaching

Police, the community and a local retailer are joining forces to fight crime.

The Stow Police Department and the local Target store have joined forces to help fight crime and bring the National Night Out celebration to Stow community members once again on Aug. 6 from 6 to 8 p.m.

The celebration, on the grassy area of Darrow Road between S.K.I.P. Park and Fire Station No. 1, will offer food, games, prizes and entertainment free of charge for residents of all ages.

“This is an opportunity for the community to come out and meet officers and see what our police department is all about,” Kathy Christ, Stow Police Department’s youth services education specialist, previously said. “We want our residents to feel comfortable with our police officers and know the resources we offer.”
