Stray Bullet Flies Through Stow Apartment

A bullet flew through the floor of a Stow apartment and into a bedroom after a Stow man accidentally fired his handgun recently.
Police responded to an apartment building in the 4500 block of Hudson Drive after a resident heard a loud noise come from her son’s bedroom.
They found a 9mm bullet in the apartment.

Police contacted the downstairs neighbor, who admitted to accidentally firing his 9mm Glock 19.
As a result, Stow Police charged the man, Javon M. Thomas, 22, with improperly discharging a firearm, a first-degree misdemeanor on Sept. 7.
