Suspects Use Bleach and Petroleum Jelly to Cause Damage

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department.

The owner of a home at the 2900 block of Crown Pointe Drive told in June that someone poured bleach throughout his yard, which killed some of his grass.

The 41-year-old homeowner also said the door handles of his truck and home were coated in petroleum jelly.

Police identified the suspects but the homeowner said he did not want to prosecute. Damage to the yard is estimated at $3,000, according to the report.

Criminal damaging in this situation is a second-degree misdemeanor.
