Teens Found with 'Criminal Tools' Behind Hardware Store

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Last night found seven Cuyahoga Falls teens behindwith flashlights, pry bars and screwdrivers.

According to police, the youths were playing in an unauthorized area where a large cement pipe was behind the closed hardware store.

One teen gave an officer consent to search his bag, where police found two pry bars and three packs of cigarettes. Two pry bars were also lying near the pipe.

The teens did not give an explanation as to why they had the tools, said police.

The seven youths were warned for criminal tools and mischief and the case is being handled by Stow Youth Services.
