Teens Run from Police After Drug Use

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Two Cuyahoga Falls and two Stow youths were charged with obstructing official business after running from in the woods behind the 1300 block of Appache Trail Aug. 4.

Police got a call from a homeowner who said there was some suspicious activity in the woods. When police arrived, the youths fled.

The teens admitted to smoking marijuana after they were caught by police behind a business on the south side of Hudson Drive.

The teens have been referred to Stow Youth Services. Obstructing official business is a second-degree misdemeanor.
