A Stow teen has been charged with growing marijuana.
Stow Police arrested a Fishcreek Road teen on charges of cultivating marijuana, a minor misdemeanor, after finding a pot plant, a space heater and a grow lamp at the juvenile's residence.

The unidentified juvenile was arrested on the charge March 16.

A Liberty Road resident told Stow Police someone broke into her safe and stole more than $5,000 in jewelry.
The woman told police that someone broke into her home safe and stole: a silver wedding band valued at $749; a wedding band valued at $2,984; a diamond necklace valued at $699; a pair of emerald earrings valued at $149; ruby earrings valued at $150; and an emerald necklace valued at $749.
The victim told police the theft happened some time between Dec. 1, 2012, and March 25, 2013.
Because of the value of the items stolen the theft charge would be a fifth-degree felony.
Safecracking is a fourth-degree felony.
