Tupperware Full of $15,000 in Gold, Silver Stolen

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A container that held $15,000 worth of gold and silver was reported stolen Dec. 16 from a home in the 4600 block of Danforth Drive.

The resident, a 51-year-old man, told the burglary occurred sometime between Dec. 2 and 15. No force was used to enter the home.

The man said stolen items included a Tupperware container holding an unknown amount of gold, scrap gold and silver dollars with a combined value of $15,000; also stolen was a 3-carat diamond ring and a flat-panel television, both of unknown value.
