Two Burglaries on Same Day, Street

The following information was supplied by the Stow Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Both of the following reports happened on Aug. 14 around 6:45 p.m. and 10:52 p.m.

  • A Streetsboro resident reported that someone broke into a Echo Drive home and took more than $9,000 worth of items while the homeowner was out of state. The most expensive item taken was a dirt bike valued at $3,000. A 52-inch television valued at $2,800 and a computer valued at $1,200 were also taken as well as a stereo and speakers, gaming system and video games. Police said the suspect entered through the front door. Burglary is a second-degree felony. 
  • An Echo Drive homeowner told police that someone entered the attached garage to his home and took a dirt bike. The bike is valued at $4,900.  Burglary is a second-degree felony.
