Vandals Hit SKIP Playground

Estimated $500 damage done to park near city hall

Vandals hit the Stow Kids Playground near city hall some time during the schools' spring break last week.

City officials reported finding nearly $500 in damage at the park on Saturday.

Someone spray painted graffiti on the walls and doors of the public restrooms at the park, according to Stow Police.

A stainless steel paper towel dispenser and a liquid soap dispenser were damaged.

Stow Parks and Recreation employees made repairs at the park Monday.

Well, if only those with good typing skills and grammar should give opinions then maybe only yours would be there. Or is that what you really want? Just like Melissa, I was giving my opinion and was not criticizeing her opinion. Maybe you should get out your oold dictionary and relearn the definition of criticizing!

Stow Resident. I did not mean to be criticizing anyone. It is just my opinion is much different than Melissa. Anyone who knows me , knows that I love kids and even when their in the wrong. BUT I do believe that this is the time in hteir lives that they need to have some "tough love" and make them accountable for their actions. All that being said I did not say anything about her personally BUT she sure took it to me personally ---yelled at,.----- Grow up!!!!

Kids are going to be kids. There isn't really a victim in this case, so what's the big deal? The city had to do some cleaning up, oh well that's their job.
