• Nicole Welsh is expected to be appointed as an assistant prosecutor in the city's law department. 

  • Law Director Brian Reali hinted that he'd hire someone soon for 15 hours a week after council appointed Brendan Mackin as a permanent part-time assistant prosecutor at 30 hours a week. Hiring part-time employees saves Reali's department $5,500/year on health insurance costs, .

• Council is expected to authorize hiring three part-time inspectors in the building department.
