Candidate Statement

As Clerk of Courts, I oversee the administration of nearly 20,000 cases that come through our Court. Since taking office I have been working to increase revenue by aggressively pursuing collection of outstanding debt and thus far those revenues are on the rise. Increased revenue will temper the burden placed on Stow residents as a result of hosting the Court. Also, we continue to look for creative methods to avoid hiring more staff. This year we will operate with 17 full timers and just 2 part-timers, down from 4, and are cross-training employees. We also now do our own cleaning! I am extremely fortunate to work with an experienced staff, an efficient Court and resourceful City leaders.
