AMATS Citizens Involvement Committee
Outreach, pedestrians and freight on meeting agenda
A public meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., Thursday, September 20 at the Richard Howe House located at 47 West Exchange Street in Akron to discuss local and regional transportation issues.
The Citizens Involvement Committee of AMATS will discuss the agency’s final draft Public Participation Plan, which details the agency’s public outreach strategies in the Greater Akron area. There will also be a presentation regarding the agency’s draft Pedestrian Plan and a special presentation regarding METRO’s Rail Freight System Study.
