Expect Delays on State Route 8 Starting Monday, April 23

Drivers may want to avoid stretches of the local highway this week.

Get ready for road repairs while heading north on Hudson's stretch of State Route 8 over the next two weeks.

Beginning Monday, April 23, the high-speed artery will have northbound lanes closed for pavement repair, according to the city of Hudson's website.

The closures will be 24 hours a day. Construction crews will be directing traffic. At different periods, two lanes will be closed during daylight hours.

The entrance ramp at Seasons Road in Stow will remain open, but traffic will be stop and go for about a week. Delays should be expected and alternate routes considered.

The repairs will wrap up in early May.
