Sept. 11, 2012 marks the 11th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on American soil.
The soil at the entrance of has been transformed into a , thanks to donations from the public. The garden will be complete by Tuesday morning.
Mayor Sara Drew asked the public to join her at the site, which features a , for a moment of silence at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
"The city of Stow will observe a moment to mark the day in memory of the lives lost on Sept. 11, 2001 and the subsequent years," she said.
It is the unofficial unveiling of the memorial as there are aesthetic aspects that still need to be added, Drew said.
