Political affiliation: Republican, according to the Summit County Board of Elections.

Why run for election?

  • "I want to run for city council so I can make Stow a better community for all residents and help reduce our city’s debt."

What qualifies you to serve?

  • "My career in the military and my Masters in technology management. In the military, the experience I have gained contributes to strong leadership, problem solving, integrity, and discipline. The degree will help support quality improvement processes through a viewpoint of thinking to solve efficiency dilemmas and a willingness to listen to community ideas."

What is the biggest problem facing Stow?

  • "The biggest problem is our city’s debt. While changes are necessary and sometimes fixes are costly, I believe there are less costly options to make improvements."

Goals if elected?

  • "If I am elected to city council I will reduce Stow’s debt. I will also push to get businesses (primarily manufacturing) to move to our city that will increase local jobs and revenue. I’d also push to improve our city’s road structures."

Favorite thing about Stow?

  • "The people are my favorite part of Stow; they are considerate, friendly, and have a keen willingness to form a better community."
