Planning for Fourth Annual Veterans Day Celebration at Lakeview Underway

The emotional celebration of veterans is scheduled for Nov. 9, 2012.

Veterans will come to Lakeview Intermediate School again so the community can joing together to show its appreciation for those who have served.

On Nov. 9, it will be the fourth annual Veterans Day Celebration initiated by K-Kids and Klub USA to honor our brave men and women who are presently, or have ever been in the U.S. Armed Forces. (Actual Veterans Day is on Nov. 12.)

  • The day begins with a continental breakfast provided by the Lakeview staff and cafeteria. Students who bring their Vet to this event get to sit and have breakfast with them.
  • A school-wide assembly begins at 8:30 a.m. in the gym featuring speakers from the different branches of the military and/or wars.
