Stow Police to Hold Open House

Public invited to tours Oct. 15

Stow Mayor Sara Drew and Chief of Police Louis Dirker invite the public to attend an open house at the Stow Police Department on Tuesday, Oct., 15 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. 

Tours of the facility will be given by the police department staff and equipment will be on display. Cider and donuts, along with coffee and cookies will be provided.

The open house will feature a variety of police department vehicles and equipment, including the SWAT armored vehicle, the DARE vehicle, equipment that officers use in their daily work as well as demonstrations by the department’s K-9 officers. Attendees will get a chance to suit up in SWAT gear, visit the jail, take a look at the practice shooting range, and meet the professional law enforcement staff that provides safety services to our citizens.

Information about services provided by the department will be available as well, including Vacation Watch, Senior Resource Officer, School Resource Officer, Stow Youth Services, Police Reserves, and more.
