Summit County Property Taxes Due Friday

Installment plans are available for homeowners that can't pay the entire amount.

The Summit County Fiscal office reminds taxpayers that the second half 2010 Real Estate tax deadline is Friday, July 15.

Taxes may be paid at the Summit County Fiscal Office on the third floor of the Ohio Building at 175 S. Main Street in Akron. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Payments that are mailed must be U.S. postmarked by July 15, 2011 to avoid late payment.
