Update: Water Main Break Repaired in Stow

Water is restored to the homes on Sanford Avenue between Marhofer Avenue and Elmwood Avenue as of 3:20 p.m. The road is also reopened.

reported a water main break Thursday morning at the corner of Sanford Avenue and Elmwood Avenue.

Water has been turned off on Sanford Avenue from Marhofer Avenue to Elmwood Avenue. Repairs are reportedly starting immediately.

While the road is closed to all other traffic, police said emergency vehicles will be able to get to the area if necessary during construction.
