5 Things OK'd at Monday's School Board Meeting

Want to know what the board approved Monday night?

1. Superintendant Russ Jones recommended several employee resolutions. They included resignations, reductions in force, leaves of absences, among others. The board voted unanimously to approve all of these measures. To see a list of employees affected, click on the agenda attached to this post.

2. The board unanimously approved the updated NEOLA Board Policies.

3. A $40,000 annual contract with the Positive Education Program from Aug. 22 to June 8, 2012 was accepted. The cost is paid for with federal grant money.

4. The board unanimously approved a $700 monthly contract for the Tri-County Employee Assistance Program.

5. A contract was approved with the Summit County Board of Elections, where the BOE can use , and for a pre-election meeting Aug. 1 and for public voting during a special election Aug. 2.
