Joshua Smalley of Stow, son of David and Debra Smalley, will be recognized during graduation Thursday for being one of the top 10 students in the 2012 class at .

He plans to major in English/theater at Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, where he was awarded the Presidential Scholarship.
During his time at SMFHS, Josh was a member of the National Honor Society, an International Honor Thespian and a Rotary Achievement Scholar in 2011 and 2012. He was first violin in the school's string orchestra.

The four-year Drama Club member served as the group's president during his senior year. Josh was involved in the All-School Musical for four years and had lead roles in the junior class play, Inherit the Wind, and the senior class play, Noises Off.
