Maia Marchetti of Stow, daughter of Pennie Marchetti and Vincent Marchetti, will be recognized during graduation Thursday for being one of the top 10 students in the 2012 class at .

Maia, a National Merit Scholarship finalist, will be majoring in physics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
During her time at SMFHS, Maia was a member of the orchestra and the National Honor Society. She also participated in Academic Challenge and Science Olympiad.
