Sruthi Sundaram of Stow, daughter of Venkatachalam Sundaram and the late Meenakshi Sundaram, will be recognized during graduation Thursday for being one of the top 10 students in the 2012 class at .

The National Merit Scholarship winner will be attending the University of Cincinnati to major in biology/pre-medicine. Sruthi has also been awarded the Cincinnatus Excellence Scholarship and the McMicken Arts and Sciences Scholarship.
During her years at SMFHS, Sruthi was a National Honor Society member and Rotary Club Academic Achievement Award winner. She was a Science Olympiad participant who placed in technical problem solving at the Ohio Science Olympiad tournament.
