High School Principal Retires After 27 Years in Education

After four years as the Stow-Munroe Falls High School principal, Susan Schur announced Tuesday she is retiring.

Prinicipal Sue Schur announced her retirement Tuesday evening after 27 years in education — 21 of them in the Stow-Munroe Falls School District.

"The thing I will miss the most is the excitement of the high school and the energy that our students bring to my day," she said. "I plan to spend time with  family and friends — and no early 5 a.m. wakeup to an alarm clock!"

Schur became principal of the high school in 2008. Prior to her appointment, she served as an assistant principal at the high school. She also worked in the special education department for several years.
