Holiday Drive Wraps Up with Gifts to Needy (Photos)

Both the holiday drives at the high school and Kimpton have concluded, but have resulted in thousands of items donated to two local charities.

More thanin Cuyahoga Falls, and after students at the and school collected items for the holiday drive.

The items were delivered Friday by eight members of Kimpton's Student Council: Becca Luketich; Kennedy Adams; Sam Croy; Roman Lovell; Olivia Holt; Bri Nixon; Alexa Baker; and Ashley Stuart.

At Kimpton, Team 8-1 led the way, with Mrs. Wright-Gonos' homeroom donating the most.  

Co-student council advisor Mike Eckart, teacher Matt Shanholtzer, and bus driver Tom Bukovsky delivered and sorted all of their own donations, sorted other donations that came in, and helped move most of Good Neighbors' inventory into place for Sunday's distribution to the community.

"It was a tiring but very rewarding three hours," said Eckart.
