LOOK: New Turf Field Ready for Winning Seasons After Ribbon Cutting

The Bulldogs' new turf field, courtesy of BEST for Stow, is looking forward to many home game wins.

The new field at the stadium, paid for by generous community donations, still has that "new turf" smell and is ready for athletes and band members to use following a ribbon cutting Aug. 23, 2012.

Look for video coverage of the event on Stow Patch this weekend.

Were you there? Did you take photos? Please add them to this post!

Wow! This is an excellent example of how good things happen when positive, forward thinking people become involved. Hats off to each of you who made it happen.

It was truely a team effort led by John Prusa. Huge thanks to Ron Marhoffer and many other "Pillars of the Community". The turf company as well as the excavation crews get a round of appause as well as the Stow Munroe Falls School District. This was not an easy mission.
