Parents Should Have Bus Route Information; Garage has New Phone Number
If you don't have your bus route information by Friday for the start of the school year, be sure to call the bus garage.
The school bus employees are preparing for the start of the school year and part of that process was sending out bus route information to homes with students taking public transportation to class.
Transportation Supervisor John Daymon said the routes were sent out last week. If parents do not receive this information by Aug. 17, they should call the bus garage's new number at 330-689-5234.
The old number will no longer work. The school's switchboard can also connect callers to the bus garage.

All of the district's buses have been inspected and are ready to hit the road for the school year.
"We’re in good shape," said Daymon. "The fleet was inspected and approved and everybodys ready to go."

The drivers will go on a test run the day before school. There are 54 daily routes and 66 transportation vehicles that operate in the fleet.
"We'll go out on a run the day before school starts during our in-service training day for the first half of the year," he said.
