School Board to Consider Personnel Matters at Meeting

- Administrative contracts: The board will consider awarding administrative contracts to John Daymon and Jason Smith.
- Resignations: The board will consider the Nov. 30 resignation of Thomas Grove, a full-time Class IV assistant mechanic, and the Dec. 6 resignation of Barbara Hunter, a part-time Class IV library assistant at .
- Certified personnel - extended substitutes: The board will consider changing the status of Irene Clement, Teresa McBride and Theresa Ralston from casual to extended substitutes for the remainder of the school year.
- Extended field trip: The board will consider approving a field trip for approximately 25 high school students and 2 chaperones who will be traveling to Chicago to participate in exploring the role of finance in business and investments through the Chicago Board of Trade. They will depart at 6 a.m. April 26 and return at 10:45 p.m. on April 27. Total cost of the trip is $8,400, but there are fundraisers planned to help defray the cost. Nowak Travel motor coach will provide transportation.
- Gift acceptance: The board will vote to accept the gift of $2,500 from the PTA to be used for student planners.
