Closures, Cancelations and Parking Bans Feb. 25

Superintedent Dr. Russ Jones said all Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools are closed today due to the weather. This is the fifth calamity day used this year by the district.

Mayor Karen Fritschel announced this morning that a parking ban is in effect now until 10 a.m. Saturday morning.

The is delaying its opening until at least 10 a.m. today because of the weather. Call 330-688-3295 before going to the library to make sure it is open.

All city park and recreation programs and classes are canceled today too.

The boys basketball game against Solon for tonight is canceled. It is rescheduled for 6 and 7:30 p.m. for the junior varsity and varsity games, respectively, at Solon tomorrow Feb. 26. 

The junior class play at the is canceled tonight and has been rescheduled to Monday at 7 p.m.

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for Stow until 4 p.m. tonight. An additional two to four inches of snow accumulation is expected today.
