Special Board Meeting Thursday for November Levy

The Stow-Munroe Falls Board of Education will meet Thursday to take the first of two steps toward putting a levy on the ballot again.

According to the final, but unofficial, results from the Summit County Board of Elections, 4,039 (60.65 percent) voted against the levy and 2,621 (39.35 percent) voted for the levy.

If the levy had passed, it would have cost the owner of a $100,000 home $202.21 annually. The 6.57-mill, 10-year levy would have generated $6.5 million annually.
