An Evening with Terry Pluto

On Tuesday, February 7th at 7 p.m., award-winning sports journalist and author Terry Pluto comes to Stow-Munroe Falls Public Library. Pluto will be talking about his new book, “Joe Tait: It’s Been a Real Ball.” Written with the long-time Cleveland sportscaster, the book details the highlights of a career spent on the front lines of Northeast Ohio sports.

Known to three generations of Clevelanders as “the voice of the Cavs,” Joe Tait also spent over a decade announcing for the Cleveland Indians (from 1973 – 1987), he was also the announcer for Mount Union College’s football team. In 2010 he was awarded the Curt Gowdy Media Award by the Basketball Hall of Fame. Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing at the event.

To register for this free talk, please call (330) 688-3295 ext. 4 or stop by the library’s Information Desk.
