Expect A Lot of Ohio Sweet Corn at Stow's Farmer's Market Saturday

Rain or shine, vendors selling produce will be setup Saturday at the Stow Community Church on Pilgrim Drive.

No matter what the weather — hot or cold, rain or shine — the vendors from the will be selling local produce, handmade crafts and baked goods into the fall.

The market is Saturday July 21 in the parking lot of , 1567 Pilgrim Dr. (behind Briarwood Nursing Center between Englewood and Baumberger Drives.) from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Can't make it this Saturday? The market is open every Saturday through Oct. 6.

The people in charge of the market said Ohio sweet corn will be in abundance this week from Natural Abundance of Rootstown, along with potted plants, flowers and herbs from , including recipe ideas using the fresh herbs available at their booth.

The Lofty Cupcake Food Trailer will be at the market with breakfast wraps with fresh cheese, bacon and veggies, served with a fruit cup and drink.

The music Saturday will be provided by Mike Harvan, who plays the guitar and sings.

Also on hand this Saturday is a pharmacist from  to provide free blood pressure and diabetes blood sugar tests.
