The GriefCare Place announces Kids' Time

The GriefCare Place is offering ‘Kids’ Time’ for children ages 6 - 15 years old in a safe comfortable atmosphere for those who are grieving the death of someone they love and are hurting from their loss.  The sessions will run for eight consecutive weeks beginning Tuesday, February 19. 

Here children find peer grief support, share their feelings, share their tears and laughter, share the celebration of life, and form new friendships, realizing they are not alone in their grief. 

Sessions will give each child creative activities helping promote discussion and understanding of their feelings, and giving them tools to have conversations with their parents and caregivers. 

Kids’ Time is led by trained professionals, Sue Maxymiv, Audrey Kraynak and Arlene Hurst.
