"I'm Back!"

OK, OK ... so two of the most important faces at Patch convinced me to start blogging since I'm involved in so many things in this town. Sounded good to me!

However, going through all the Patch stuff I have come to find out that I'm already a blogger -- I just hadn't been here for a long, long time.  So I guess I'll get back to it.....sometimes....whenever.

Don't look for -- and don't send me! -- any political screeds like you find on some other blogs.  Don't tell me about the IB program in the schools.  Don't EVER criticize anyone else for their beliefs/feelings.  That's not what my blog is about, and it's not what I am about.

I'm just here to keep you apprised of community events, activities, meetings, etc.  It's what I do.  I'm that "man-about-town" or "community activist" (although even that sounds political) who's here for you.

I've never much cared for the expression "It is what it is."  But it does seem to apply to the blogosphere. So, I'll close with it:

     It is what it is.
