Hey! You have only two (2) more chances to see Stow Players' great production of "Cotton Patch Gospel," a musical retelling of "The Greatest Story Ever Told." I've seen it two-and-a-half times (don't ask), and really enjoyed it. The company of five actors/singers is great, and the show flies! Tonight and tomorrow night are the final performances at the Heritage Barn in Silver Springs Park (Young Rd. entrance). Show starts at 8:00 both nights --- call 330-655-6051 for reservations.
Do you have your tickets for the Lions Club "Night at the Races" yet? They're just $25 each for the annual event at the SYB Hall, this year on March 3. Doors open at 6:30, dinner's at 7:00, and "Post Time" is 8:00. Check smflions.com for more information.
When I was teaching at SMFHS, I was always involved with the After Prom. The parents go to great lengths and spend a pile of time and money on making sure the night is a great one for ALL the seniors. They're raising funds all year long, and the big fundraiser this year is a Wine Tasting Night, being held March 9 at Silver Springs Lodge from 7-10 pm. It's just $20 per person and goes to a GREAT cause. For more information, email NBaker@Tribute.com .

Make plans now for the annual "Dessert Extravaganza," this year being held at Silver Lake Country Club on April 19 at 7 pm. Tickets are $25 per person. I LOVE emceeing this event, but then it's all about two of my favorite things: desserts and books!

(I know, I know...libraries are about more than books nowadays, but I'm old.)
Lots more going on, but that's all I have time for right now. See you around town!
